क़िस्मत   का मारा हैं , गरीबो  की ज़िन्दगी  | 

अमीरो का ठुकराया  हुआ  हैं , गरीबो  की ज़िन्दगी  | 

फिरभी  लोगों  की गुजारा हो रही हैं , गरीबो की ज़िन्दगी में  | 

खेती हों या बॉर्डर, महल हों  या नहर  | 

गरीबो ने ही सबको सहारा दिया हैं  | 

जब जब जरुरत पड़ी हैं देश को,

गरीबो ने ही देश को सहारा दिया हैं  | 

देश की संस्कृति को, गरीबो ने ही बचाया हैं  | 

भारत माँ की आँचल को, गरीबो ने गाँव में ही सजाया हैं | 

कचड़ा - नाली  साफ़ करके , गरीबो ने देश को स्वच्छ बनाया हैं  | 

खुद आधी पेट खाना खाकर , वह सबको खाना खिलाया हैं  | 

गुजरा हो रही हैं , गरीबो की ज़िन्दगी  में  | 

कपड़े और रोटी की सख्त जरुरत हैं , गरीबो की ज़िन्दगी  में  | 

भले पैसो की कमी हैं , गरीबो ज़िन्दगी  में  | 

लेकिन अपनो का प्यार काम नहीं हैं , गरीबो की ज़िन्दगी में  |
